We come from a large French Acadian family. Our mom and dad had 14 children.
They were blessed with 60 grandchildren and 66 great grandchildren, many of whom enjoy the beach across from the family home in Souris, Prince Edward Island, Canada.  Our family's love for sea glass has evolved over the years as we continue to comb the beaches for these treasures.  We also love to watch the waves crash ashore during a storm knowing that tomorrow brings us many new finds.  As we walk the beaches, there is always that special feeling of peace and calmness.  It helps us connect to our inner self and to the beauty of the world around us.

"Souris by the Sea Glass" began as a passion for collecting sea glass. This passion soon became a challenge to find creative ways to use this sea glass. Articles of every kind are being created such as stepping stones, PEI maps, jewellery, angels, crosses, mobiles, lanterns, CD's and much more.
As members of the North American Sea Glass Association the family has attended the Sea Glass Festival held in Santa Cruz, California in 2006 and 2007.  We were vendors at the festival in Lewes, Deleware 2008 and Erie, Pennslyvania 2009. This July we were artisans at the Mermaid Tears Sea Glass Festival in Wood Island, PEI Canada.
Each piece we design is truly " one of a kind"  using authentic sea glass.

"God's Little Treasures"

God's little treasures, washed by the sea
Shells and seaglass, a potpourri
I walk on the sand, this time so rare
Enjoying the beauty, without a care

They come in all colors, amber, green and blue
In all shapes and sizes, to fit a hand or two
Many precious pieces, they're part of the view
Litter from the past, made beautiful and new

I surrendered to You Lord, You are my all
I trusted in You Lord, and You heard my call
Perfect and imperfect pieces, show me the way
Guide me in new direction, at the dawn of each new day

The wind at my back, I walk along the shore
Forget the struggle, against the wind once more
Sand hitting my face, feeling whole in the driving rain
Reminders of how to live, and lean on You again
